VUGA Enterprises respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This page describes how to submit a notice of claimed infringement, how a target may submit a counter-notice, and our policy for repeat infringers. We follow the process set out in 17 U.S.C. § 512.

1. Designated Copyright Agent

Notices must be submitted to our Designated Agent registered with the U.S. Copyright Office:

2. Filing a Notice of Claimed Infringement

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe material on vugaenterprises.com infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the Designated Agent that includes all of the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works at a single site, a representative list).
3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, with information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate the material — typically the URL of the infringing page on vugaenterprises.com.
4. Information reasonably sufficient to allow us to contact you: address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Incomplete notices may not be processed. Please ensure all six elements are present.

Important: 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) imposes liability on persons who knowingly materially misrepresent that material is infringing. Filing a false notice may expose you to damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

3. Our Response

Upon receipt of a complete notice, we will:

• Promptly remove or disable access to the material identified;
• Take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted or supplied the material (where applicable);
• Document the removal in our records.

4. Counter-Notice

If you are the user who supplied material that has been removed pursuant to a DMCA notice and you believe the material was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the Designated Agent that includes all of the following:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or an agent of that person.

Upon receipt of a complete counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action seeking a restraining order against you within 10–14 business days, we may restore the material.

5. Repeat-Infringer Policy

VUGA Enterprises terminates the accounts of users who, in our reasonable view, are repeat infringers of copyright. We may also terminate accounts in any case of clear infringement, in our sole discretion.

6. Trademarks

For trademark concerns (rather than copyright), email legal@vugaenterprises.com with a description of the mark, the registration (if any), and the page on vugaenterprises.com you believe infringes. Trademark complaints follow a similar review process but are not subject to the DMCA's specific procedures.

7. Editorial Articles in Our Network

Editorial articles produced for VUGA Enterprises authors are written by our editorial team or by editors of the receiving outlets, using factual information about the book and author. If you believe an editorial article includes content that infringes your copyright (e.g., reproduces a copyrighted excerpt without authorization), submit a notice as described above and identify the specific URL.
