Aleksandra Liashkova - Morozova is an International Supermodel, fashion influencer, winner of Miss Supermodel Worldwide 2018 and a founder of Supermodel Russia.
24FASHION.TV: When did you first realize that you wanted to pursue a modeling career?
Aleksandra Liashkova - Morozova: When I was 17 years old my mom said I am very photogenic. We found a modeling agency where I passed the casting, and I was immediately offered a contract in Asia, but then I was not sure that this was my dream, so I refused it. But this was the beginning of my modeling career.
When did you have your first breakthrough?
There was no such breakthrough. After I canceled the contract, I built up a portfolio, I was invited to take pictures, there were a lot of them, the portfolio was getting bigger and bigger. Then I started to get invitations to larger projects.

What do you think is the most difficult part of this job?
The most difficult thing is to remain yourself; a model is like an actor, in every photo project you put on a mask and play a role.
What do you like most about working as a model?
Frequent change of scenery, a new look at yourself and teamwork.
Which of your modeling jobs and catwalks that you walked on are you most proud of?
I am proud of my victory on the world stage at the Miss Supermodel Worldwide 2018.

Were you shocked when you won the Miss Supermodel Worldwide title?
Sure! There are a lot of photos from the finale on the Internet; have a look, they are very funny. At the time, I could not even imagine how my life would change after the competition and what would happen next.
Would you say a model's career short-lived these days?
I think now it is actually much more lasting than 10 years ago because of social media! Also, modeling now has changed a lot, unique appearance is appreciated; they look less and less at weight, height and age, many companies choose a blogger as a model and I think it's cool!

At what age do most models retire?
A difficult question, especially now, an example of how at 89 years old you can look great and work as a model is Carmen Dell'Orefice, look at her photos! She looks very impressive!
What role do you think social networks plays in the modeling industry?
Personal brand and active presence on social networks are very important now. If you have a lot of followers, then the advertising coverage of the brand will be able to reach a much broader audience.
Do you think having a large following on social media helps you find more modeling jobs?
Of course, now I work less as a model and more and more as a fashion influencer

When you are not modeling, what do you enjoy doing the most?
In my free time, I spend time with my family, with my husband - I cook (I really love to cook), I go to the gym (an integral part of my life), I read a book, and weekends we spent in the nature. Also, I spend a lot of my time on my project Supermodel Russia! We are creating a modeling school in the online format - Supermodel School.
If you weren't a model, what would you like to do?
Everything that I am doing now, working on a beauty contest, creating modeling school and developing my social media presence by building my personal blog on TikTok and Instagram. By the way, don't forget to subscribe :)
Do you think that in 10-20 years you will still be in the modeling business, if not, what will you do?
In 10-15 years, my ideal profession will be a happy mother and a wife. And at the same time continuing working on my Supermodel Russia project.

How and why did you decide to find SupermodelRussia?
I won a world beauty contest, after which I was invited to world projects as a jury, I realized that beauty contests in Russia are very different from world ones. The organizers of Miss & Mrs. Supermodel Worldwide have more social projects, they help girls become better, develop them, give them the opportunity to see the most amazing corners of our country, create a whole portfolio for models. Therefore, it was decided to bring the project to Russia, we have been successfully holding a competition for the second year already, collecting the most beautiful girls from all over Russia, and the winner goes to represent our country on the world stage.

I know you travel a lot because of your job! What's your favorite travel destination?
I cannot choose one place, every country is special, every trip is the unique for me! I really love Italy, Spain, France, India, America, England.
What kind of modeling job do you dream of?
I would love to take part in an advertising campaign for Dior, Chanel, Prada.
What's your favorite designer?
I think that every designer has interesting collections, but this season I really like the Jacquemus and Prada collections.

What advice can you give to girls dreaming of a modeling career?
My advice to young models is to be confident and to be yourself.
