Now in its 14th year, The Nolcha Shows is a recognized platform for discovery: a vessel for highlighting current and emerging global fashion design talent during New York Fashion Week. The company always has its finger on the pulse on what is hot, fresh, and up and coming. Nolchas latest endeavor? NFTs. On December 1, 2021, during Art Basel Miami, Nolcha Shows dove deeper into the world of NFT digital art, presenting artists at Hyde, SLS Hotel South Beach.
Its no secret that NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, have recently taken the art world by storm. Enter the Nolcha Shows NFT Edition, a curated event presenting NFT digital art, large-scale sculptures, augmented reality, and live performances. On December 1st, Nolcha Shows NFT Edition highlighted the following talented artists including Demsky, Zevi G, INKAS by the Sherman Brothers, and YOUNG & SICK.
NFTs were displayed on state-of-the-art WHIM canvases. WHIM is a new category device, revolutionizing how you experience all your digital life.
Artifact Technology displayed their NFT keychain onsite, and Les Pommes launched the world's first decentralized event management and ticketing platform for live, online, and Metaverse events. Guests enjoyed specialty cocktails by DUSS, live performances by Ricardo Ralph Lopez, opera singer Charlotte Ushela, Violin and music by DJ Lexey, and other surprise acts.
Incorporating fashion into the event, Holaplex partnered with Asher Levine to display NFT fashion. Ashers recent design work has been featured in Lil Nas Xs Montero music video, Doja Cats MTV VMA performance, & more. He will be auctioning off his fashion works on Holaplex. www.holaplex.com
Lastly, Nori, a blockchain-based carbon removal marketplace that facilitates carbon removal and storage of CO2 emissions from the atmosphere, teamed up with Sherman Theatrical Entertainment on their INKAS by The Sherman Brothers NFT collection. The premier NFT in the series includes a unique ("1 of 1").

INKAS by the Sherman Brothers NFT Collection
Inkas the Ramferinkas is an original animated musical, 70 years in the making, by the Academy Award winning Sherman Brothers. They are arguably the most successful songwriting team in Hollywood history behind the song scores of Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, Winnie the Pooh, and many others. The INKAS by The Sherman Brothers NFT series is comprised of video and song clips from the never-before-seen, original animatic storyboard reel.
The premier NFT in the series is a unique ("1 of 1") video sequence and will be accompanied by an original physical, hand-drawn storyboard drawing from the animatic. Zevi G
Zevi G is a world-renown contemporary artist known for his iconic large- scale sculptures. He celebrated the upcoming release of his 456 Collectors Club, a collection of 4,560 unique NFTs combining modern art and technology. The 456 Collectors Club is the first generative collection to continually reward all holders with limited edition physical artwork by a well-established modern artist. The first set of redeemable artworks is a 1/1 hand-signed print of corresponding NFT and a 7-inch sculpture with an NFC chip to provide ongoing digital experiences to the owner. Dutch-born artist Nick van Hofwegen aka YOUNG & SICK has thrived at the intersection of art and music his whole life, creating stunning visuals for everyone from Foster The People and Maroon 5 to Young Thug and Machine Gun Kelly, as well as Austin City Limits, Outside Lands and more. Rooted in the graffiti boom of the 90s, Demsky is a modern artist internationally known for his work on the streets of more than fifty countries, on gallery walls, underwater, and now in the metaverse. Iconic street artist Demsky and augmented reality pioneers ANIMA showcased their reality-bending NFT collaboration, along with a new physical sculpture from Demsk's Phase S- N series.
